I just had to replace the Krups convection/toaster I've owned for 8 years because when I flipped it over to clean it, the door spring inside must have popped off or broken. It still functioned fine, but door would not stay closed. I used it everyday about three times a day and always loved it. Way cheaper than firing up the electric range and way faster too. For the price of the unit, and very good quality, I found it to be cheaper than buying 3 average toaster ovens which only last 2-3 years each. Heating a tray of leftovers in it comes out better than the microwave, convection is the key. Use convection for everything! If the door spring did't break, I bet it would last another 5 years or more. I must say that the loud beeper takes getting used to. Buy it, you will be satisfied!

Reliable toaster

I have used one of these for years. I feel that it toasts well, and it's very convenient for use as an oven and convection oven. It looks great and holds up well. The beep when it finishes is very loud, but that can be a positive.

Krups Toaster

The convection fan will not come on during convection baking and the upper
element comes on whenever it wants. Three times I have walked into the
kitchen and found the upper element on and the start button not illuminated.
The only way to stop this is to unplug it. The unit is still under warranty so I will
be returning it. Better luck next time.
