The only thing we don't like about this toaster is that the slots aren't long enough to accommodate the whole wheat bread we like. We have to turn the bread around to get the entire length toasted.

DISCLAIMER: I rarely give 5 stars for anything. Nice toaster. Does a fairly even toast and I'm quite satisfied with the product. First off, highly recommend that you cycle the toaster through several times before actually placing a valued piece of bread, bagel, english muffin in the toaster. Most will do this, but some may attempt to use the toaster right out of the box. Bad move. Still some residual "stuff" inside the toaster, so I recommend burning it off before subjecting yourself to Mr. Toast's Wild Ride. Secondly, and more to the point of the subject line, the first time I cycled the toaster, one of the bread "aligners" (for lack of a better term... but I'm sure the engineers have a name for it) failed to operate. I played with it a bit and it finally started functioning as designed. Has been, ever since. So just hold on to the packaging in the event that it does not.

Took a while to get used to the settings but I am starting to feel more comfortable with it. I especially like the "warm without toasting" feature.
