This coffee grinder produces consistently uniform ground coffee. I purchased it as a replacement for an identical one that served me daily for over seven years! I believe that the original failed because I did something wrong in maintaining it.

The grinder does a reasonably good job of making a uniform grind of the beans. However, there is a small amount that comes out way too fine when you are grinding on the coarse setting. These go through the coffee filter and end up in your cup. The annoying thing about this grinder is that the grind chamber is really difficult to line up with the housing base to replace after you remove it. Do they test these things before they put them on the market?

When replacing grind chamber into housing base, difficult to center channel at bottom of the unit. Channel narrow. Must be precise to fit chamber into housing. Recommend redesigning the camber to incorporate a "V" configuration channel instead of the current straight narrow channel.
