compact... but big enough

Smaller that I expected, but realize it is just right. It looks so nice on the countertop, and doesn't take up a lot of valuable space. My Brown Rice was a bit al dente the first time, but I simply added an extra 1/4 th cup of liquid the next time and it was fine. Have not used the steamer basket, but I know l will love that feature. Overall I am pleased.

It did fine for 2 cups of rice, but I find it hard to believe it can cook up to 7 cups. The cooking basket is pretty small.

Poor Directions

I liked the rice cooker itself. I found the Instruction book very frustrating and not clearly written. This is complicated by the inclusion of a rice measuring cup that is actually 3/4 of a cup. They refer back and forth in the book between the "rice cup" and a standard 1 cup measure. I found it strange that there are no portions for Basmati rice. I really think the book could have been written more clearly.
